Binance supports Komodo (KMD) update
Binance has announced that it will support Komodo (KMD) network upgrade and hard fork. The Komodo (KMD) network upgrade and hard fork will occur at Komodo block height 2,963,330. So, June 24, 2022 corresponds to 16:37 CEST. Deposits and withdrawals for KMD will be suspended approximately on June 24 at 15:37. KMD trading will not be affected during network upgrade and hard fork. The Komodo (KMD) network upgrade and hard fork will occur at Komodo block height 2,963,330. The estimated time is for users’ reference only.
Binance will meet all relevant technical requirements for all users who have KMD in their Binance account. Komodo (KMD) network upgrade and hard fork do not result in the creation of new tokens. Once Binance’s team decides that the upgraded network is stable, they will restart deposits and withdrawals for KMD.
Changing tick size for some pairs
In order to increase market liquidity and improve the trading experience, Binance will adjust the tick size (i.e. the minimum change in unit price) of certain spot trading pairs on June 28, 2022 at 9 CEST. Tick size update will not affect existing spot orders. After the tick size is updated, the orders placed before the update will continue to match the original tick size. You can see the couples that will be affected by the change as follows:
Beam (BEAM) hard fork will be supported
Binance will support Beam (BEAM) network upgrade and hard fork. Beam (BEAM) network upgrade and hard fork will occur at block height of 1,820,000. BEAM deposits and withdrawals will be suspended from approximately 24 June 20 CEST. Just like Komodo, BEAM trading will not be affected during network upgrade and hard fork.
Wallet maintenance will be carried out for the TRON network
Binance will be performing wallet maintenance for TRON Network (TRX) on June 23, 9 at 09:00 CET. Maintenance will take about an hour. Token trading on TRON Network (TRX) will not be affected during wallet maintenance. Deposits and withdrawals on TRON Network (TRX) will be suspended from 23 June at 08:55 CEST. Withdrawals and deposits will be reopened after the maintenance.
Binance will support OGV airdrop for OGN holders
Binance has announced that it will support the Origin Dollar Governance (OGV) airdrop for Origin Protocol (OGN) holders. The final snapshot time will be determined by the OGN team. It will take place from July 5 to July 12. After being notified by the OGN team about the exact snapshot time, the exchange will take a snapshot of the OGN tokens held by users.
Binance Margin will suspend isolated margin lending for OGN/USDT and OGN/BTC from July 5. Isolated margin trading will continue for these pairs after the snapshot is taken. Binance will make a separate announcement to inform users about the final snapshot time and the completion of the OGV airdrop distribution.
