Whales continue to accumulate SHIB
Data from WhaleStats over the past 24 hours shows that meme coin Shiba Inu has entered the list of top 10 tokens with the highest trading volume. Meanwhile, a large whale on the Ethereum Blockchain bought 163.2 billion from SHIB.
According to the WhaleStats website, SHIB ranks eighth in the top 10 cryptocurrencies list by trading volume. Stablecoins Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC) and SHIB’s regular competitor FTT token are ahead. Shiba Inu also stands fifth on the list of the 10 most actively sold tokens, along with ApeCoin (APE), Chainlink (LINK), Maker (MRK), and Uniswap (UNI).
Giant whale caught 163 billion SHIB
WhaleStats also shared that the whale named ‘BlueWhale0073’, which has been actively buying SHIB for the past few months, has also made a big purchase. Whale bought 163,286,048,050 SHIBs worth $1,575,710.
The page of this whale’s wallet shows that it has sold almost all of the purchased SHIB tokens. At the time of this writing, the investor holds 5,055,490,196 SHIBs worth $51,566. This makes up 1.99% of his portfolio. The majority of the wallet content is USDC (51.77%) and USDT (24.05%) stablecoins and UNI (18.59%).
Shiba Inu combustion portal activity has decreased
According to Shibburn, a total of 60,537,792 SHIB tokens have been moved to a dead wallet in the past 24 hours. Six transactions took place to remove this amount of SHIB from circulation. Whales add tremendously to MATIC assets
